Day 13: Takayama

Day 13 stayed in Takayama. The morning was around the old town side of the city, including Takayama Showa-kan Museum and its rooms of retro objects, signs, vehicles, and shop displays.

Later, we went out to Hida no Sato Folk Village Museum. The visit was mostly around the old houses, water, paths, and views across the open-air museum grounds.

Back in central Takayama, there was time around town before dinner at Hidagyu Maruaki.

We stayed another night at Mercure Hida Takayama.
