Day 9: Nara and Osaka

Day 9 was a Kyoto-based day trip to Nara. We started around Nara Station and continued toward Nara Park.

The main stops were Nara Park and Todai-ji, including the temple approaches, the large wooden halls, and the Great Buddha.

Later, rail issues on the Nara-to-Kyoto line sent us through Osaka Station. We went via Osaka but did not spend the afternoon outside the station.

By evening we were back in Kyoto, around the station and hotel area again for dinner.
